Our Story

Canada Tech Training began when three software engineers—frustrated by the manual, error-prone deployment processes at their enterprise jobs—decided to build something better. Marcus Chen, Sarah Okonkwo, and James Tremblay pooled their savings and launched from a desk at the MaRS Discovery District.

Our first client was a Toronto fintech startup struggling with 4-hour deployment windows. We reduced their release cycle to 12 minutes. Word spread. By 2017, we had 15 team members and clients in financial services, healthcare, and e-commerce.

Today, we've completed 2,847 projects, maintain a 98.7% client retention rate, and employ specialists in DevOps, cloud architecture, security automation, and machine learning integration. Signed first Fortune 500 client in financial services. Team grows to 8 members. Expanded to dedicated office space in downtown Toronto.

2017 — Vancouver Expansion

Opened Vancouver office to serve growing West Coast tech ecosystem. Team reaches 15 members. Completed 100th project milestone.

2018 — ISO 9001 Certification

Achieved ISO 9001 certification, formalizing quality management processes. Launched security automation practice. Team grows to 28 members.

2020 — Montreal Office & Cloud Practice

Opened Montreal office for bilingual service delivery. Launched dedicated cloud architecture practice with multi-cloud certifications. Maintained 100% delivery during pandemic transition to remote work.

2022 — SOC 2 Type II Compliance

Achieved SOC 2 Type II compliance, enabling service to highly regulated industries. ML integration practice launched. Completed 2,000th project. Team reaches 52 members.

2024 — Present Day
